I guess summer has to have some warm weather and here it comes. This week we will get into the high 80's Fahrenheit. Maybe even the 90's F. Slightly cooler near big Lake Michigan. It will only be for the start of this week. Thunder storms will cool us down by this Wednesday.
The rivers should be able to take the heat as the nights will cool down to the high 50's F and low 60's F.  River conditions will stay good but avoid the noon to 4 PM hot and sunny section of the day.
It has been a healthy year for the rivers, trout, and bugs! It's time for some of those big late summer hoppers, Hornbergs, and humpys flies. The trout always seem to explode on the take of terrestrials.
We're deep into summer now and the weather has been kind to both trout and man. You better take this opportunity to fly fish, it might never be this good again for a while.
